Behind the lens
PetPIX is run by Alex Gray, a passionate nature photographer with an exceptional talent behind the lens and a natural affinity with animals of all kinds.
Aged just 13, but with photographic skills that well beyond his age, he has twice been shortlisted for the Natural History Museum Young Photographer of the Year and was runner-up in the U12 RSPCA Young Photographer of the Year in 2024.
He is available to photograph pets of all kind in and around South Hertfordshire, West Essex and North London, including Enfield and Barnet.
Every photoshoot is a new adventure
Working with animals is never predictable. The best photos come when owners get involved in the shoot, putting pets at ease and making them feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Many children also love to be a part of the process and their help is always welcome - laying down feed, moving pets into position and even holding a light in the perfect place.
As an integral part of the shoot, you will not only enjoy the images for years to come, you will also have wonderful memories of this great adventure.
